News

Dear Exhibitors,

Effective from 01.01.2027, dogs can be entered into the following classes at FCI CACIB show: the class winners will compete for the CACIB title:

New class: Bred by Exhibitor - Handled by Breeder - Breeder's Class

• Intermediate class: dogs can be entered of age 15-24 months old
• Open class: dogs can be entered from 15 months old
• Breeders class: dogs can be entered from 15 months old (handler is the breeder)
• Working class: dogs can be entered from 15 months old (with working certificate)
• Champion class: dogs can be entered from 15 months old (with champion certificate)

Conditions of the Breeder's Class:

Entering the dog into Bred by Exhibitor (Breeder's Class) is not obligatory: dog can be entered into any class, meeting its requirements.

Dog entered into Bred by Exhibitor (Breeder's Class) must be handled by the breeder on the pedigree/registration document during the entire show - from the class competition, through the Best of Breed (BOB) selection, until the Best in Show (BIS) program. The owner cannot handle the dog in case the breeder cannot participate!

At the shows, judging will be carried out entirely through an electronic system, and no printed critique sheets will be issued.
•    The critique sheet and the result achieved will be sent to the exhibitor by e-mail shortly after the judging.
•    Any corrections to the results sent by e-mail can be requested until the start of the BIS programme. If judging in the respective ring has already been completed, corrections can be requested at the show office.
•    If the dog obtains the results required for the issuance of any Champion certificate during the show weekend, the exhibitor will be automatically notified by e-mail.
•    After accepting the notification, the Champion certificate can be paid for online and will then also be sent electronically by e-mail.
•    The already printed Champion certificate can also be collected in person at the show office.

Please provide an e-mail address during the entry process that you will have access to throughout the entire duration of the show, as the critique sheets, results and notifications regarding Champion certificates will be sent to this address.

Dear exhibitors, dear friends!

We will organize a 4-day international dog show between February 5-8, 2026 within the framework of the Hungexpo Fehova exhibition.
Every year, the event is criticized for expensive parking, expensive food, and dirty toilets.

The event is criticized year after year:

• expensive parking
• expensive foods
• because of the cleanliness of the toilets

The Hungarian Kenne Club has been fighting for better and cheaper parking options since the beginning.
Our goal is that exhibitors who come to us for 4 days are not burdened with the same financial burden as the "simple visitor", who probably only visits the event once or arrives by bus. They don't have to carry the huge amount of exhibition equipment and dogs like exhibitors.

Hungexpo promises the following changes in 2026:

• Food quality and prices are improving.
• Cleanliness is being paid more attention to.

New in parking:
Free parking next to Gate III, the furthest from the exhibition area

• Limited spaces, exclusively for FEHOVA visitors
• Open: 9:00 – 18:00

Hungexpo external parking spaces:

• According tour information, municipal operation
• Daily fee: 5000 HUF

Winterdogshow exhibitor discount
Hungexpo, through the Hungarian Kennel Club, will continue to provide discounted daily parking tickets of HUF 3,800 for dog exhibitors at the Winterdogshow.

• Daily parking ticket: 3800 HUF via Hungarian Kenne Club
• Parking directly next to the exhibition area, pavilion E
• Open 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Overnight parking of cars and RVs is still not possible due to the Fehova gun safety regulations.

Important information:
If you have already purchased your parking ticket, but due to changed options, you don’t want to park in the 3,800 HUF dog show parking place, the ticket price will be refunded. Please indicate your intention by January 21st at the latest to the following email address: admin@dogshow.hu.

We wish everyone a successful and enjoyable weekend!
